There was a hole in our bathroom wall. I wanted to make some shelves to fill it and make it look nice. These shelves are made out of white oak and Siberian elm. The elm came from the tree we cut down in the back yard. The white oak has some really cool tiger effects. Kind of art nouveau inspired.
Painting
This is a painting I did a while back for a friend. I don't get to do as much painting as I used to. Maybe one day I'll get back into it. This was very similar to an old painting.
A buffet from my past
I made this buffet and a few more like it for a couple years. They all went over to a store in Bozeman. That was about 23 years ago. They were all hewn to look rustic, and I'm guessing they all ended up in some fancy houses over there. I must have made 15-20 of them all with variations.
Stair Railing
Here's a painted stair railing I made recently. It went 2 stories and 4 sections of stairs. The black metal with the white wood really looked great.
Another Urn
Here is an urn made out of walnut. The ends were bent laminated. Then I wrapped copper around it. The oak leaves are out of walnut, but I tried carving them out of oak. They didn't look quite right. Im pretty happy with how it turned out.
An Urn
My cousin's father in law passed. They asked me to make an urn. I was honored.
